Key Information

Our school building was originally built to educate less children and some areas of the building (the hall and the staff room, in particular) still reflect this. There have, however been major improvements to the school building in the last few years. We are well resourced for all of the areas of the curriculum. Overall our ICT facilities are second to none with an interactive whiteboard in every classroom, and each of our year 5 and 6 pupils having their own laptop which they are able to take home on some occasions.

We are shortly to be part of the Primary Capital Programme, which will mean that major re-construction work will happen to the old part of the building from summer 2010.

Our teaching force is also well balanced with a range of experienced and less experienced staff. We have a good mix of male and female staff, and staff with interests and expertise in all curriculum areas.
