Key Information

Our school building was originally built to educate less children and some areas of the building (the hall and the staff room, in particular) still reflect this. There have, however been major improvements to the school building in the last few years. We have a gorgeous new extension with 6 new classrooms and a new state of the art ICT suite. We are well resourced for all of the areas of the curriculum. Overall our ICT facilities are second to none with an interactive whiteboard in every classroom, and each of our year 5 and 6 pupils having their own laptop which they are able to take home on some occasions from the end of year 5.

Our re-building programme continues. We are mid-way through a window replacement programme. We also have big plans for the front of the school which will hopefully take place in the next couple of years.

Our teaching force is also well balanced with a range of experienced and lessexperienced staff. We have a good mix of male and female staff, and staff with interests and expertise in all curriculum areas.
